Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) is the entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka for admissions to the various engineering and medical degree undergraduate courses across the institutes affiliated to it.

Eligibility Criteria:

• One must have passed 10+2 or 2nd PUC from any recognized university or Board in India.
• One must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and obtained a minimum aggregate score of 45% (40% for SC/STOBC candidates of Karnataka).
• Physics and Mathematics should be the compulsory subjects along with any one of the following optional subjects- Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology or any other technical vocational courses.
• One must have also studied English as a subject in the qualifying exam.
• Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.

Selection Procedure:
On the basis of the scores in COMEDK UGET

COMEDK UGET Paper Pattern:
• Candidates will be tested in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with 180 questions (60 questions each)
• Duration of the exam will be 3 hours
• Candidates will have to mark their answers on an OMR sheet

Marking:
• Each correct answer will fetch one mark.
• There will be no negative marking.
• In case a candidate gives two answers to the same question, it will be considered as wrong.
• If there is a tie in the score, the board will consider the number of wrong and unattended answers to come to the final conclusion.
