University of Agricultural Science, Bangalore (UAS) is one of the few universities in India which provides specialized undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) degree programmes in multiple branches.

Ph.D. is offered in the following 14 disciplines:

1. Agricultural Economics – 6 seats

Eligibility:

Candidates must possess master’s degree in Agricultural Economics
Candidate should have studied master’s degree with minimum CGPA of 2.25/4.00 for GC candidates and 2.00/4.00 CGPA for SC/ST candidates
Candidate should have studied under Trimester system

2. Agricultural Entomology – (6 seats)

Eligibility:

Candidates must possess master’s degree in Agricultural Entomology / Apiculture
Candidate should have studied master’s degree with minimum CGPA of 2.25/4.00 for GC candidates and 2.00/4.00 CGPA for SC/ST candidates
Candidate should have studied under Trimester system

3. Agricultural Extension – (6 seats)

Eligibility:

Candidates must possess master’s degree in Agricultural Extn. / Extn. Education
