Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test TNSET is conducted by Bharathiar University for recruitment of Indian Nationals as Assistant Lecturers in Universities, Institutes of Higher Education and Colleges in Tamil Nadu & Union Territory of Puducherry.

TNSET Exam Eligibility

Master's Degree or equivalent examination with at least 55% marks.

50% marks for Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Physically Challenged (PC) / Visually Challenged (VC) category candidates

Final year student of master degree can also apply.

The PhD degree holders shall be eligible for relaxation of 5% of marks from 55% to 50% to appear in SET Examination.

Candidates have to appear for SET in the subject of their Post Graduation only.

Age Limits-

There is no Upper age limit to appear in TNSET Exam.
