Union Bank Social Foundation was enlisted as a beneficent Trust at Bangalore on 02.03.2006 as an activity of Union Bank of India to complete its CSR exercises. By and by UBSF is working from R.O., Bangalore premises. Administrator and Managing Director and Executive Directors are separately Chairman Trustee and Vice Chairmen Trustees. The Board of Trustees screens and controls the exercises of the Trust.

Objectives

Expecting to Support Initiatives Towards Social Upliftment and Improving Living Standards of Underprivileged Segments, UBSF is Focusing on Assistance to Trusts/Social Organizations Engaged Mainly in the Following Activities:

• Girl Child & Women Empowerment
• Vocational Training
• Environment Protection

Major Areas of Activities

A. Charitable

Monetary help to NGOs/Trusts/Societies serving the enthusiasm of under advantaged fragments/debilitated people, giving counterfeit appendages and gadgets/supplies (for physically and simple-minded people/kids) sound recording of books/school transports for outwardly impeded understudies encouraging instruction. Night covers for road poor, sun based power frameworks to schools, School Busses for kids from denied segments/impaired kids, Ambulances, other clinic types of gear/foundation for operation theaters and offices to patients.

B. Provincial Development Activities Through Adopdted Villages

Ventures, exercises in towns received under Union Bank Adarsh Gram Scheme-both towards group advancement and school foundation change (viz. toilets, clean water supply facilities,storage tanks, computers,desks, seats, fans, hand pumps and so on.) Support to kids by giving books, school hardware, appropriation of young lady kids, giving cycles and development of school building and so forth.)
