University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Raichur is a Public college only devoted to the review and research of farming sciences set up by the Government of Karnataka at Raichur region through the University of Agricultural Sciences Act, 2009.

The Agricultural Research Station went under the control of University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru in 1965. After the foundation of University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur amid 2009 the Regional Research Station is redesignated as the Main Agricultural Research Station. Explore work is focused on Cereals, Oilseeds, Pulses, Cotton, Chili, Sugarcane, Millets, Horticultural harvests, Fisheries, Forestry, Animal science and so forth., in creating different innovations.

College of Agriculture, Raichur

The Agriculture College at Raichur was begun in 1984 with an admission limit of 30 understudies for every year with its working in the premises of Regional Agricultural Research Station and Agricultural Engineering Institute and from that point moved to new Agricultural College working in 1989.
