The University of Kashmir is a Premier University of Jammu and Kashmir.

It is located on the western side of the Dal Lake in the city of Srinagar which lies in the Indian Administered state of Jammu and Kashmir.

It was Founded in 1956 .

B. Ed Program Duration :

Two Academic Years (4 Semesters)

Intake Capacity :

100 seats (50 seats in-service + 50 seats pre-service candidates)

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates Must have passed Graduation in any discipline from the University of Kashmir or from any other University recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Kashmir with 45% marks(General category) and 40% marks (Reserved category);

Selection Process :

Admission shall be strictly on the basis of merit secured in the entrance test.
