Eligibility Criteria

-For Full Time M.Phil Programs:

A master’s degree in the respect subject of the University of Madras or any other university accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent with minimum of 50 percent of marks

For SC/ST and Physically handicapped and visually challenged candidates concession of 5 percent of marks shall be given in the minimum eligibility marks.


-For Part Time M.Phil Programs:

Teachers working in the Madras University departments/teachers working in affiliated colleges whose qualifications are approved by the university/non-teacher candidates are eligible to apply.


Selection Procedure
Selection of the candidates will be based on the entrance exam to be conducted by the university.
