Jamia Polytechnic is one of the oldest departments of Jamia Millia Islamia operative under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of the University.

It is conducting Diploma Engineering courses of 3 years duration in the following branches:

Diploma in Computer Engineering

Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Diploma in Electronics Engineering

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Admission to these courses is done through a written test on all India basis followed by an interview.

The Diploma Engineering courses are conducted in the evening also under the scheme of continuing education.

The evening programs are delivered on self-financing basis for 4-yr duration and their classes are conducted from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on all working days and on weekdays also.
