The United Nations University Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV) is a newly established Operating Unit of the United Nations University (UNU) dedicated to research and teaching in the domain of Electronic Governance (EGOV). It is based in the city of Guimarães, Portugal, since July 2014.

UNU-EGOV commenced its operations in July 2014, following the appointment and relocation from Macau to Guimarães of three former members of the EGOV Programme at UNU-IIST: Dr. Tomasz Janowski was appointed as the Head of UNU-EGOV
