Uttar Pradesh Common Admission Test Dental or UPCAT BDS is a national level entrance exam for admission in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program in various Dental Colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

UPCAT BDS Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are eligible for UPCAT BDS 2016 examination only if they satisfy following condition:

• Applicants should be of 17 years at the time of taking admission or should complete on or before 31st December, 2016.

• Applicants ought to pass in Higher Secondary Certificate exam or its equivalent exam can apply for the examination.

• Applicants must have scored at least 50% of aggregate marks in Higher Secondary Exam in PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects taken together to apply for the exam (40% in case of SC/ ST/ OBC category)

UPCAT BDS Exam Pattern

The test consist of 200 multiple choice questions of 3 parts namely:
Physics
Chemistry
Biology- Botany and Zoology

The time for the exam is about 180 minutes.

Applicants 1 mark will be added for each correct answer and will not lose any marks for any wrong answer given.
