UPCMET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Medical Entrance Test) is a popular exam which is conducted by UP Unaided medical colleges welfare association (UPUMCWA) every year at state level. The examination is organized for admission to various private medical colleges across Uttar Pradesh.


Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be a citizen of India.
Applicants must have passed higher secondary or equivalent examination with English (mandatory subject) from a recognized university and secure and secured 50% marks in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). For SC/ST candidates the minimum score is only 45%.
Age of applicants should be 17 years as on 31st December of exam year.

Examination Pattern :

The examination will be conducted through two papers containing MCQ type questions; the paper 1 will be separated into two different sections i.e.

Section A and Section B. Section A will contain total 100 questions from Physics and Chemistry whereas, the section B contains 100 questions from Biology and Botany.

Paper II will contain total 50 questions from General English
