The written examination for Assam Teacher eligibility is conducted in October month. Every year two times this examination is conducted by Assam Government.

This is offline examination which is conducted to test the eligibility for teaching posts.

Assam TET Eligibility Criteria:

For Upper Primary Teachers:
Candidates must have degree in relevant field with 50% marks. They must have passed graduation with degree in Education.

For Primary Teachers:
Candidates should be passed diploma/degree in education. Those are having graduate degree in elementary education they are also eligible for TET exam.

Age Limit: Candidates age should not exceed 38 years

Starting Date of Online Application Form: 01st February 2016

Closing date of Submission of online Application form: 15th February 2016

Last date to submission of application fee at Bank: 20th February 2016

Date of Generation of Admit Card: Announced Soon

Date of Assam TET Exam 2016: Will be updated soon

Application fee: For the Assam TET application form every candidates need to pay application form fee is Rs. 400/-.
