Can you tell me when will the results for counselling for Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test (UPCPMT) announced by Directorate Medical Education & Training, UP?

Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test (UPCPMT) has been replaced by NEET exam. No state level exam will be conducted in UP state for admission to the MBBS & BDS courses. Directorate Medical Education & Training, UP will only organize a counselling procedure on the basis of NEET UG score.


One has to do the online registration for the 1st round of counselling. The subsequent rounds of counselling will be done as per the schedule. The merit list will be released for those candidates who have successfully registered for online counselling before the last date.

One will have to pay the security money to lock the seat and then have to fill the online choices. The result of the counselling will be released and selected students will be able to download the Allotment letter. The seat allotment will be done for each subsequent counselling.


UP CPMT Medical Counselling

UPCPMT Counselling includes the stages completing which the aspirants will be eligible for admission into various desired course. In the counselling, they will be given seat on the basis of merit list. The counselling will be held after the announcement of NEET UG Result.

While counselling, they will be filling up the choices as course and college in which they will be taking admission. The admission is provided as per scores obtained in the entrance exam. The students will need to present the documents and certificates in original during counselling. The counselling is done category-wise.


Procedure to appear in UPCPMT counselling

1) Candidate has to confirm its ranking based on merit list then has to confirm the counselling date from the official website of UPCPMT Counselling.

2) Candidate has to decide its choice of course before he wish to appear for UPCPMT counselling, but based on its ranking he/she may get the course of choice.
