Eligibility
Nationality: A candidate must be either (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee

Age Limit
A candidate for this exam must not have attained the age of minimum 32 years

Educational Qualification
For admission to the exam, a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS Examination

A candidate who has appeared or has yet to appear at the final MBBS Exam may also apply. Such candidates will be admitted to the exam, if otherwise eligible but the admission would be deemed to be provisional and subject to cancellation.

Physical and Medical Standards
Physical and Medical Standards: Candidates must be physically and medically fit according to the physical/medical standards for the Combined Medical Services Exam as per regulations contained in Appendix III to the Rules of the exam
