UPSC is conducting a CDS exam for its various posts. CDS Exam or Combined Defence Service Examination is an exam conducted twice every year by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

It is an exam to induct officers into the Indian Defence Forces i.e. the Army and the Airforce.

A Combined Defence Service Examination was conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 23.10.2016 (Sunday) for admission to its Courses

19-24 Years Indian Military Academy
19-22 Years Naval Academy
19-23 Years Air Force Academy
19-25 Years Officers’ Training Academy


Educational Qualifications:
For IMA & OTA:
Candidates have Degree of a recognized University or equivalent

For Naval Academy:
Candidates have B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg

For Air Force Academy:
Candidates are invited with their degree in B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg
