Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission which is well known as UPPSC will organize written exam for recruitment for Assistant Engineer Post under Combined State Engineering Service Examination Pattern : PART/ PAPER MARKS TOTAL TIME DURATION PART I Objective Type General Hindi 50 Marks 2 Hour General Studies 100 Marks 2 Hour PART II Objective Type Engineering Paper I 100 Marks 2 Hour Engineering Paper II 100 Marks 2 Hour PART III Subjective Type Engineering Paper I 200 Marks 3 Hour Engineering Paper II 200 Marks 3 Hour Syllabus of the Examination : GENERAL HINDI:- In General Hindi Section, Questions will designed to check the Understanding & Perfect use of Hindi Words under Hindi Language. Paper will be of High School Level. Questions will be asked from:- 1: Unseen Passage, 2: Use of Symbols, 3: Antonyms, 4: Phrases and Idioms, 5: Synonyms, 6: Sentence Correction, 7: Letter Writing, 8: Essay Writing in Hindi GENERAL AWARENESS:- Question will be asked from Indian History, Indian Polity, Current Events, Geography, Indian Economy etc. Focus will be on Current national & International events, banking, sports etc. Application Fees he application fee of the online form for General/Obc category male candidates is ₹200 while no fee is required by female and the reserved category applicants. Test Centres : The test is conducted in June every year at centres across India, namely: Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizwal, Aligarh, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bareilly, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dharwad, Dispur, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Jorhat, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji (Goa), Patna, Port Blair, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Udaipur and Vishakapatnam. |
