UPSC Eligibility Age
I am Siddharth and I am appearing for UPSC Civil Services examinations. So kindly provide me with the details about the age limit along with the any other useful information regarding this examination.

Hello Siddharth I would like to tell you that “The Civil Services Examination (CSE) is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various Civil Services of the Government of India. These exams include Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS) among others. So here in response of your question I am enlisting the various details about the age limit of this examination: A. I would like to tell you that in this examination the minimum age for everyone is 21 years. Prescribed age limits vary with respect to the caste reservations. B. The upper age limit for General category is 26 years. C. If you turns 21 on August 1 is then you are where as you turns 26 on August 1 of the year of examination is not eligible. D. For OBC category upper age limit is 28, and for SC/ST it is 29 years. E. Upper age limit relaxation is provided to the persons who are backward with respect to other factors and physically handicapped people. Here along with that I am enlisting some of the more details about this examination which is as follow: Numbers of attempts A. The number of attempts a you can give the exam is limited as follows B. If you belongs to General Category or OBC Category Candidates then you are provided with 6 attempts. C. If you belong to OBC Category then you will be given 9 attempts D.
