Notification for Indian Economic Service (I.E.S) / Indian Statistical Service (I.S.S.) Examination 2016 had been released by UPSC .

IES/ISS 2016 exam was conducted on 13th May 2016 (Friday), for the same result will released in month of August .

UPSC IES/ISS Entrance Exam

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must be either
a Citizen of India, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
a Tibetan refugee

Age Limit
21 years -30 years

Age relaxation:
Up to a maximum of 5 years if a candidate belong to a SC/ST

Up to a maximum of 3 years in the case of candidate belonging to OBC


Educational Qualifications
For Indian Economic Service:
Candidate must have :
Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics.

For Indian Statistical Service:
Candidate must have obtained a Bachelor's Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subject or
a Master's degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics .
