UPTET Eligibility Details:

UP-TET Levels:
Primay Level (Class I-V)
Upper Primary Level (Class IV-VIII)

Educational Qualification:

Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Level):

Degree with Minimum 50% from a recognized university
&
02 years Diploma (D.Ed)

or

Degree with 02 years B.T.C., C.T. (Nursery)/ Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) (02 years) f

or

Degree with qualify in Special B.T.C. Training

or

Degree with 02 years B.T.C. Urdu Special Training in Uttar Pradesh

or

04 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

Minimum Educational Qualification for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Level):

Degree with B.T.C. from
Or
Degree with 50% minimum marks / Degree (B.Ed)/ B.Ed Special Education from Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

OR

Intermediate with 50% &
04 years B.A/ B.S.C.Ed/ B.A.Ed

OR

Intermediate with minimum 50% &
04 years Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

or

Degree with minimum 45% & B.Ed.

UPTET Exam pattern, Syllabus and Scheme:

UPTET Syllabus consists of :
Two objective type question papers.

Each paper will consist of 150 MCQs

Each question carries 1 marks totaling for 150 marks.

Details of question papers :

Paper I :
To become teachers for classes I-V in Uttar Pradesh primary school.

Paper II :
To become teachers for classes between VI and VIII in Uttar Pradesh upper primary school.

Paper I and II:
For those candidates who interested in teaching from Class I to VIII.
