Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination UPSEE is the state level exam conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow for admission in various UG and PG courses offered by the most of the institutions of Uttar Pradesh.

UPSEE Eligibility

The candidate must be passed class 12th from a government recognized board for All UG courses.

The candidate appearing for the exam should be scored an aggregate of 45% (In case of general candidate) and 40% (In case of reserved category candidate) in the qualifying examination. Only B.Arch will require the qualifying marks as 50%.

For all PG courses the candidates should be passed the graduation with 50% (45% for reserved).

For lateral entry in B.Tech or B.Pharma the candidates must have three year diploma in relative field with 45% (40% in case of reserved candidates).

There is no age limit

The candidates should be the resident of Uttar Pradesh.

Examination Fee-

The candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 1000/- for General & OBC candidates (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates).

The application fee can be paid through Debit card/Credit card/Net Banking.

For Male / Transgender Candidate / General/ OBC Rs 1000/-

For SC/ST Category and Female Candidates/ Physically Handicapped Candidates of All the category
Rs 500/-

Examination pattern

The UPSEE 2016 will have MCQ type questions (except drawing test as part B of paper IV for Architecture program).

There will be different total marks for each paper- paper I, II & III carries 600 marks/ paper IV carries 500 marks/ paper V, VI, VII & VIII carries 300 marks/ paper IX, X, XI & XII carries 400 marks.

The applicants will be awarded with 4 marks for each correct answer

There will not be any negative marking.
