UP Polytechnic JEECUP is a state level entrance exam conducted by Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTE) for admission to various polytechnic courses in the government and private polytechnic institutes and colleges of Uttar Pradesh (UP).

UP Polytechnic JEECUP exam 2016 was held on 1st May, 2016

JEECUP Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should have passed or appearing in class 10th, or 12th or equivalent from any recognized board or university.

The candidates should be having domicile of UP

The candidates belonging to the UP are eligible to apply for 85% seats in various government and private colleges of UP.

JEECUP exam pattern-

JEECUP will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based mode).

Number of Questions:

The question paper will consist of total 120 questions. For each group, separate question paper will be there that contains the questions as per the choice of the course.

Question Paper Type:

Only objective type questions will be asked in the examination for which four options are provided and the candidates are required to choose only one correct answer.

Subjects: Varies Group to Group.

Language: The question paper will be printed in English as well as in Hindi Language.

Duration:

The total time allotted to solve the question paper is 3 hours.

Group A (Engineering/Technology Diploma Courses) – 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

For Group B to K7 (Other Courses) – 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Marking Scheme:

For every correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.

Negative Marking:1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
