Can you tell me about the eligibility requirement for VBCAT (Visva Bharati Common Entrance Test) which is conducted by Visvabharati University?

VBCAT (Visva Bharati Common Entrance Test) is conducted by Visvabharati University every year in the month of June. Visvabharati conducts exam every year for admission into various graduation and Post Graduation courses.

Eligibility Criteria of VBCAT 2017
• For UG courses, one needs to pass the intermediate or equivalents examination.
• For PG courses, one must have cleared the bachelor from the relevant discipline with prescribed aggregate marks
• For certificate courses, one must have passed 10 + 2 class from any recognized board
• One, who will be applied for the exam, must be Indian.

Age limit:
For UG course candidates’ age should be between 17 to 25 years
For PG course candidates’ age should be 22 and less than 30 years

Application form will be available on April 2017
Last date of application form submission May 2017
Admit card will be issued May 2017
Exam will be held June 2017
Result will be declared 3rd week of June


Process of Applying for VBCAT 2017

In Person:
• Application forms will be available at Union Banks for sale.
• One can buy the application forms at the bank branches by remitting the cost of the application material in cash or demand draft.
• Fill the application form with all correct details.
• Send the filled in form through registered post to administration office of the university.

Online:
• One has to download application form the official website
• Fill the application form with all correct details.
• Send the filled in form along with DD through registered post to administration office of the university.
