Vellore Institute of Technology Management Quota
Is it possible to get into VIT University through Management Quota as I have not appeared in the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination .Provide the procedure to apply for the B.TECH admission through Management Quota .

Admission in VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) of Vellore University is conducted on a merit basis through an online entrance exam. VIT organises its own entrance exam, called the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE). It is conducted every year in the month of April and May. Admissions to postgraduate courses are done through the separate VITMEE test held in the first week of June every year. There is neither a Management Quota nor Capitation Fee at VIT and it does not accept cash. Admission Process Valid NATA Score is mandatory. Eligibility: One who has studied in regular, full time and formal education alone is eligible to apply. (i) On must possess 70% marks in overall aggregate at 10+2 level or equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level. (ii) Minimum overall aggregate of 60% at 10+2 level or equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level: a. For SC/ST candidates b. For Candidates hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. And (iii) Age limit: born on or after 01.07.1995 (iv) One must have a minimum of 40% marks i.e., 80/200, in the All India National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture (COA), India. Selection Process: Selection is based on merit. Marks secured in higher secondary school examination and eligible NATA score Enclosures to be submitted with the filled in Application Form The hardcopy of the filled-out application form, along with the below enclosures: Age proof Certificate / X marks sheet Copy XII mark sheet of all attempts NATA score card Fees Structure (Per Annum) Tuition Fees INR 2,50,000 Special Fees [Inclusive of Examination, Library Fee etc] INR 25,000 Admission Fees (Onetime payment) INR 10,000 Caution Deposit (Refundable) INR 3,000 Total fee for the 1st Year INR 2,88,000 |
