Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will conduct VIT Master's Entrance Examination (VITMEE) 2017 on June 3 & June 4, 2017.

M. Tech admissions at the university will be offered through the entrance exam, VITMEE 2017 only. One, who qualify GATE, is also required to appear in VITMEE 2017 in order to secure a seat in M. Tech in VIT University.

Salient features of VITMEE 2017
• The entrance test, VITMEE 2017 will be held in English language.
• 2 hours will be allotted to candidates to complete the paper for VITMEE 2017.
• The entrance exam will have objective type (multiple choice questions).
• The question paper carries total 100 marks.
• There is no negative marking in VITMEE 2017.

VITMEE Eligibility Criteria 2017

• One must be Indian resident nationals.
• One should have passed with a graduate (full-time) degree.
• One needs to have secured at least 50% marks in the graduate degree.
• One should have studied the degree course as a regular/full-time programme from any university/college in India in the preceding 3 years.
• One appearing in final degree/final semester exam in 2017 is also considered eligible.
• One whose final year/final semester result is awaited can also apply; however, such candidate should have completed the final year exam before the counselling/interview. Also, need to submit the final year marks sheet on or before August 15, 2017.
• One also required to have studied in regular school in class X and XII.
