Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University is an open university in Kota, Rajasthan, India, founded on July 23, 1987, and was initially known as Kota Open University.

Focusing particularly on the humanities, commerce, library science and informatics.

It is biologically distributed throughout Rajasthan, with six regional centers and numerous tens of "study centers" in cities, in addition to a special Centre at New Delhi.
