IIIT-H is looking for understudies who plan to change industry and society by growing new applications/frameworks by doing front line research. We concentrate on exploration in the center territories of Information Technology and its application in different ranges.

IIIT-H is welcoming applications for the scholastic year 2016-17 from the hopefuls who have finished (or going to finish by July 2016) B.Tech./B.E./B.Arch. and so forth., in any branch of Engineering, M.Tech./M.E./MCA/M.Sc./M.A. for entrance into Postgraduate and Research programs in the ranges of Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computational Linguistics, Computer Aided Structural Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computational Natural Sciences, IT in Engineering Sciences, Spatial Informatics (Remote Sensing and GIS) and Humanities.

Entrance into M.Tech./M.S by Research/Ph.D. Projects is exceptionally adaptable at IIIT Hyderabad. An understudy with an Engineering or Science degree in any field/zone can look for induction into some other field/region for higher studies. For example, an applicant who has finished B.Tech. in Electronics/Electrical/Civil Engineering can apply for M.Tech./M.S./Ph.D in Computer Science, VLSI and Computer Engineering and Bioinformatics.

Admission to PG programmes at IIITH will be on the foundation of the performance of the candidates in the IIITH PGEE exam and an interview to be held at Hyderabad. GATE scores are not considered for admissions.

Imperative Notes:

M.Tech CASE : Students must take both General Aptitude and Structural Engineering papers. Shortlisted hopefuls in light of execution in selection tests will be called for meeting.

MS/PhD in Civil Engineering: Students must take General Aptitude paper. Shortlisted hopefuls in light of execution in selection tests and earlier scholarly record will be called for meeting.

GATE grant is accessible subject to receipt of funds from AICTE.

Determination to Postgraduate Courses depends on execution in Entrance Test and Interview (Gate Qualifying or Score is not compulsory for Selection of Postgraduate courses at IIIT Hyderabad )
