Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) is an autonomous institution set up by the University Grants Commission to promote nucleation and growth of active groups in astronomy and astrophysics in Indian universities.

As you want here I am telling the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics is offering Vacation Students' Programme (VSP) from May 15 - June 30.

The applicants for IUCAA - Vacation Students' Program, 2017 should be MSc first year students in the fields of applied mathematics, electronics, astronomy, or physics or 3rd and 4th year integrated M.Sc students, or 3rd and final year students of B.Tech. / B.E.

The candidates should apply online and the successful candidates will be informed by the end of March.

The recipients of IUCAA - Vacation Students' Program, 2017 get Rs.10,000/- stipend and free lodging on the IUCAA campus.

The recipients also get second-class (non-A/C) return railway fare from their residence to Pune.

The applicants selected for IUCAA - Vacation Students' Program, 2017 should work at IUCAA on specific research projects for 7 weeks.
