Unit-2 CFD Solution Procedure 6 hours Problem set up-pre-process, Numerical solution – CFD solver, Result report and visualization-post-process. Unit-3 governing equations for CFD 6 hours Introduction, the continuity equation, the momentum equation, the energy equation, the additional equations for turbulent flows, generic form of the governing equations for CFD, boundary conditions. Unit-4 CFD techniques 8 hours Introduction, Discretisation of governing equations, Finite difference method, Finite volume method, converting governing equations to algebraic equation system, Numerical solutions. Part B Unit-5 CFD SOLUTION ANALYSIS 6 hours Introduction, consistency, stability, convergence, accuracy, efficiency, case studies. Unit-6 practical guidelines for cfd 6 hours Introduction, grid generation, boundary conditions, turbulent modeling.
