Can you tell me about the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) Paper Pattern conducted by VIT University for admission in its B Tech Program?

VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) Pattern is announced by VIT University for candidates, who will be appearing for VIT Engineering Entrance Examination.

VITEEE Question Paper will be in English only and all the questions will be mostly from State Board of Higher Secondary Education and CBSE syllabus only.

Details of VITEEE Exam Pattern:
• All questions in VITEEE are of objective type. Questions from following four subjects will be asked-
o Part-I – Physics
o Part-II – Chemistry
o Part-III – Mathematics / Biology
o Part-IV – English

The selection of pattern (Physics/ Chemistry / Mathematics or Biology) has to be decided at the time of slot booking.

• One, who will attempt Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, will be eligible for all the B. Tech Programmes (15) offered at the university.
• One, who is attempting Physics, Chemistry & Biology are eligible for B. Tech. Bio-Medical Engineering, Biotechnology and Computer Science & Engineering (specialization in Bioinformatics) programmes only.
• All questions are of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type. Only one of the four responses is the correct answer. One needs to choose that answer.
• The entrance exam is of two and half hours.

VITEEE Marking Scheme:
• Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics part will have 40 questions. English part will carry 5 questions. Each question carries one mark. So, there will be total 125 questions and the exam will be of 125 marks.
• There is no negative marking for wrong answers in VITEEE.
