Hi I have completed 12th and I want to become IPS officer so tell me the procedure of it?

To become IPS officer, you have to complete your graduation and then you have to appear in IPS exam. Indian Police Service IPS exam is a civil service exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the recruitment of candidates for the different posts in Indian Civil Services. IPS exam eligibility- Degree in any field from recognised University. Age Limit:- Candidate age must be between 21 years to 32 years. Age Relaxation:- five years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates. Three years for Other Backward Classes candidates. IPS 2015 Exam Date:- Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam 2015:- Date of commencement of Examination:- 23.08.2015 (SUNDAY) Duration of the Exam:- 1 DAY Civil Services (Main) Exam 2015:- Date of commencement of Examination:- 18.12.2015 (FRIDAY) Duration of the Exam:- 5 DAYS No. of Attempts GEN: 4 times OBCs: 7 times SC/ST: No limit IPS Syllabus 2015 IPS 2015 exam consist of total 9 papers which are based on different topics.
