To become IPS officer, you have to complete your graduation and then you have to appear in IPS exam. Indian Police Service IPS exam is a civil service exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the recruitment of candidates for the different posts in Indian Civil Services.

IPS exam eligibility-

Degree in any field from recognised University.

Age Limit:-

Candidate age must be between 21 years to 32 years.

Age Relaxation:-

five years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates.

Three years for Other Backward Classes candidates.
