West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination WBJEE is a state level examination which is conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) for admission in undergraduate courses in engineering, medical, architecture and pharmacy field at numerous private and government institutions across West Bengal. WBJEE Eligibility Criteria- Candidates those are interested in getting admission at Jadhavpur University, must have passed 10+2 examination from state board or CBSE board with minimum 60% of marks (for reserved category candidates the minimum scored mark is 55%). If candidates want to get admission at any other institution, they must have secured minimum 45% marks (the mark is 40% for reserved category candidates). Candidates must be 17 years old For Marine engineering, must not be more than 25 years Candidates must have citizenship of West Bengal. Domicile is not required in case you want to get admission into private or self-aided university). Interested candidates must be a citizen of India. Candidates should not have any medical illness. WBJEE Exam Pattern All the questions will be of multiple choice type. All the papers will be divided into three category. Physics-Chemistry Paper: The exam will be of 2 hours. There will be 80 questions of 100 marks in it. Mathematics Paper: The exam will be of two hours. There will be 75 questions of 100 marks. Biology Paper: The exam will be of 2 hours 30 minutes. There will be 115 questions of 150 marks. WBJEE Syllabus: Mathematics- Algebra Trigonometry Coordinate geometry of two dimensions Co-ordinate geometry of three dimensions Calculus Physics- Physical World, Measurements, Units & dimensions Optics II (Wave Optics) Kinematics Laws of motion Motion of centre of mass, connected systems, Friction Chemistry- Atoms, Molecules and Chemical Arithmetic Atomic Structure Radioactivity and Nuclear Chemistry Periodic Table and Chemical Families Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure |
