West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board conduct WBJEE every year for admission in Engineering & Technology/ Dairy Technology/ Pharmacy/ Agricultural Engineering etc..colleges in West Bengal . West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE): Eligibility Criteria : Age Restriction Minimum 17 (seventeen) years Qualification Criteria for Engineering: General category candidates must secure at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10 + 2 study . (40% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC candidates) Secure at least 30% marks in English (for all categories). Qualification Criteria for Medical / Dental : General category candidates must secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10 + 2 study . (40% for SC/ST candidates, 45% for OBC-A, OBC-B candidates) Obtained at least 30% marks in English (for all categories) Examination Fees for WBJEEM :- Rs. 500/- for single course (Engineering or Medical) Rs. 600/- for both courses (Engineering and Medical) WBJEE Exam Pattern: Physics-Chemistry Paper: The exam will be of 2 hours. There will be 80 questions of 100 marks in it. Mathematics Paper: The exam will be of two hours. There will be 75 questions of 100 marks. Biology Paper: The exam will be of 2 hours 30 minutes. There will be 115 questions of 150 marks. Common factor: Multiple choice type. Papers will be divided into three category. Each question in Category-I will be of 1 mark. Questions in Category-II and Category-III will be of 2 marks. In category 1 and 2 only one option is correct and for wrong answer negative marking of 1/4 and 1/2 mark will be implemented. In category 3 more than one option can be correct and negative marking will not be done. |
