I want to know the passing rule in West Bengal University of Technology WBUT so will you please tell me?

In order to pass the four-year first degree program a candidate must obtain at least D grades in each of the Theory, Practical and Sessional items and a DGPA of 6.0.

A student shall be eligible for promotion to the next higher level if s/he has cleared ALL course items of earlier semesters individually

A student shall be eligible for promotion to the next higher level if s/he has not been able to clear up to a maximum of 4 course items (counting ALL items for the two semesters of the level as units with each SGPA as an item) but has maintained an YGPA of 5 or above.

How to Calculate Percentage from Your Grade Point

DGPA will be converted into equivalent Percentage marks as given in the following table.(Percentage equivalent of Grade point for a Ten Point Scale)
