Re: Weapons engineering degree

Weapons Engineers design, develop, test, and manage weapons and weapons systems. This course is offered by Cranfield University.

Entry Requirements

Normally a first or second class Honours degree or equivalent in science, engineering or mathematics

Alternatively, a lesser qualification together with appropriate work experience may be acceptable.

English Language

Note that this course requires a higher level of English proficiency than the University's minimum requirement.

Students whose native language is not English must have attained any of the following as evidence of English language ability:

IELTS - Academic (International English Language Testing Service): an overall minimum score of 7.0

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): Internet based test - minimum score of 100. TOEFL institution code is 0822

Pearson Test of English (Academic): an overall score of 68
Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English with a minimum of Grade A

Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English with a minimum of Grade B

Core modules (10 Credits)

Fighting Vehicle Design or Finite Element in Engineering

Modelling, Simulation and Control in Defence Engineering or Systems Engineering and Assured Performance

Compulsory Module (10 Credits) for MSc and Elective for PGCert

Armoured Fighting Vehicle and Weapon Systems Study
