WBJEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria for Engineering / Technology Courses (For Colleges/Institutes Other than Jadavpur University):
Candidates must have passed class 12th with an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST/PwD)

Candidates must have passed class 12th with Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects (Engineering Drawing / Computer Science) as optional subjects.

Candidates must have passsed with 30% marks in English (for all categories of candidates)

Candidates must have individually passed in Physics,Mathematics, English as well as the optional subject chosen (Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects (Engineering Drawing / Computer Science))

Candidates must have been at least age of 17 years

WBJEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria for Engineering / Technology Courses (For Jadavpur University):
Candidates must have passed class 12th or its equivalent examination

Candidates must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with an aggregate of 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD)

Candidates must have passsed with 30% marks in English (for all categories of candidates)

Candidates must have individually passed in Physics,Mathematics, English

Candidates must have been at least age of 17 years

WBJEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria for Marine Engineering:
Candidates must have passed class 12th or its equivalent examination

Candidates must have passed class 12th with an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (40% for SC/ST/PwD)

Candidates must have passsed with 50% marks in English (for all categories of candidates)

Candidates must also have individual pass marks in each of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Vernacular (or any other fifth) subject

Candidates must have been at least age of 17 years and must not have crossed the age of 25 years

WBJEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria for candidates through JEE Main 2014:
Candidates can avail admissions in Private Self Financing Colleges through JEE Main 2014.

10% of setas will be available to candidates under the JEE Main 2014 Quota

WBJEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria for Residential/Domicile purposes:
Candidates must have been residents of West bengal for at least of 30 years

Or

The parents of the candidates must be permanent residents of West Bengal with a permanent West Bengal home address.

Requirement of Domicile Certificate:
State-Aided Universities do not require a domicile certificate
Government Engg /Technical Colleges: Domicile Certificate is mandatory
Self Financed Institutes do not require a domicile certificate
Note: Domicile Certificate is mandatory for Reserved Category candidates.
