Oil: US$77.3 billion (16.4% of total Italian imports)

Machines, engines, pumps: $42.9 billion (9.1%)

Vehicles: $36 billion (7.6%)

Electronic equipment: $32.1 billion (6.8%)

Pharmaceuticals: $21.4 billion (4.5%)

Plastics: $20.8 billion (4.4%)

Iron and steel: $19 billion (4%)

Organic chemicals: $16.8 billion (3.6%)

Medical, technical equipment: $12.2 billion (2.6%)

Gems, precious metals: $10.4 billion (2.2%)

Machines, engines, pumps: US$107.7 billion (20.4% of total exports)

Vehicles: $38.4 billion (7.3%)

Electronic equipment: $29.9 billion (5.7%)

Pharmaceuticals: $25.1 billion (4.7%)

Iron or steel products: $20.6 billion (3.9%)

Oil: $19.7 billion (3.7%)
