Default What is IIT JEE Advanced

Hi I would like to know what is the IIT Joint Entrance Examination Advanced and why is the IIT JEE Advanced conducted?

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India normal designing placement test of target example which is directed for affirmation in different building universities and courses everywhere throughout the nation. It is viewed universally as a standout amongst the most difficult building confirmation tests.

JEE comprises of two sections, JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE-Advanced is for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), while the JEE-Main exam is for admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). Just the understudies chose in JEE Mains are qualified for showing up in JEE Advanced.

There are a few establishments like the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, and the Indian Institute of Science which utilize the score got in JEE Advanced as the premise for affirmation. These are not taking part foundations of focal IIT JEE Advanced advising of which all IITs are part.

JEE (Advanced) 2016 consisted of two papers: Paper-1 and Paper-2. You have to attempt both the papers.

You can choose the medium of question paper to be either English OR Hindi.

A Candidate is allowed to write JEE (Advanced) examination for a maximum of two times; that too consecutively.
