The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is conducted by the Anna University

This is to pursue full-time undergraduate engineering courses from the associated colleges of Tamil Nadu


Counselling Procedure for TNEA:

-The counselling will be held at the Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai - 600 025.

-The Merit List will be based on the normalization of the marks secured by the candidates in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in Class XII

-Individual communications are sent to candidates calling them to appear for counselling.

-Shortlisted candidates will get Call Letters for counselling with date, time slot and venue by post

-Eligible candidates who have applied and whose total marks are as specified or above, may appear for counselling along with their original certificates for verification, irrespective of the receipt of individual communication.

-If the ranking of candidate gets altered due to re-totalling/revaluation of mark, he/she can attend counselling as per the new mark and rank, though the call letter specifies different date

-Last Date to Apply for TNEA-: May 3rd week, 2016

-TNEA Random Number Issue Date : May last week, 2016

-TNEA Rank List Release Date : June 2nd week, 2016

-TNEA 2016 Counselling Schedule : July – August 2016
