Type of Exam:
In JEE (Advanced)-2017, there will be two papers, each of three hours duration.

The question papers will be printed separately in English and Hindi.

Candidates have to specify their choice of question paper language at the time of online registration for JEE (Advanced)-2017.

Each of the question papers will consist of three separate parts in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The questions will be of objective (multiple choice) type, designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.

Number of Attempts in JEE (Advanced)
A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years

Application Fee:
The application fee for general and OBC-NCL category is Rs. 2000/- (for male and trans gender) and Rs. 1000/- (for female candidates).

The fee structure for SC, ST and physically challenged candidates is Rs. 1000/- (for male and trans gender) and Rs. 500/- (for female candidates).

For Dubai centres candidates would have to pay flat 220 US $ for all categories.

Document requirement
10th class mark sheet and certificate for verifying the Date of Birth (Birth certificate in case of availability).

12th class mark sheet and certificate for students those have passed the 12th in 2015.

A colored passport size photograph not older than 6 month.

Scanned copy of left thumb impression.

Scanned copy of signature.

Category certificate (If applicable).
