Hey whatever your age, if you've assets eg, a house, savings, or a business, and people or others you'd like to look after, consider making a will.

Cost for the Will

Well the price varies depending on how complex your affairs are.

A single will drawn up by a solicitor can cost between £100 and £200, depending on which part of the UK you are in.

A joint will for couples could cost between £150 and £300.

Validity of will


In order for a will to be valid, it must be:-

Prepared by a person who is 18 years old or over; and

Prepared voluntarily and without pressure from any other person; and

Prepared by a person who is of sound mind. in writing; and

Signed by the person making the will in the presence of two witnesses; and

Signed by the two witnesses.
