Junior Research Fellowship:
Candidates must not be more than 28 years as on June or December of the exam

There will be 5 years relaxation for OBC (Non-creamy layer, as per the Central list of OBC )/ SC/ST/PWD categories and to women applicants

Assistant Professor:
There is no age limit criteria for Assistant Professor

According to me there is no age limit for UGC NET exam for the Lectureship program

Minimum age limit to join as a lecturer in any Government college can be 35-39 years

The maximum age limit for applying can be 50 years.

One can work in the College as a lecturer up to the age of 62.

The age criteria can vary from state to state.
