William Carey University is a type of private university. It was established in the year 1892. It is located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, United States. The William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine is the state’s 2nd medical school and the first in the region to focus on osteopathic medicine William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine was established in the year 2008. William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine was awarded full accreditation by the American Osteopathic Association's Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA), May 3, 2014. On May 24, 2014, it graduated its inaugural class of osteopathic medical students Academic Requirements for admission to William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine: A bachelor’s degree, or completion of at least three-fourths (90 semester hours or 135 term credit hours) of the required credits, from a regionally-accredited college of university The Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT). Students must take the exam and have the official scores sent directly to AACOMAS as part of their primary application.
