Re: Work Life At Isro

ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) is the space agency of the Government of India headquartered in the city of Bangalore.

According to former Retired Scientist of ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) a scientist’s job is 24x7 - if he wants to show results. But facilities & salary for the right person is never a problem. Salary scales are attractive. There is always room at the top. He is responsible to his H.O.D. & Chairman. Vision, logic, common sense, optimism, comaraderie are some of the traits which will be tested during work & are vital. Work is really hectic. I have seen scientists working hard enough at one of their centre. They have pride in their self to be an ISRO Scientist as they learn a lot something new and challenging in every day life. One will be exposed thoroughly to a complex rocketry, satellite technologies and all other allied engineering branches as everyone have to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
