World Health Organisation Guidelines on Exercise

Can you provide me Guidelines of Physical activity for health related to different age group by World Health Organisation??

Here I am providing you information about the Guidelines of Physical activity for health related to different age group by World Health Organisation:

Guidelines of Physical Activity for health:

5–17 years old Age group:

For this age group physical activity includes:
Sports,
Play games,
Recreation,
Physical education or
Planned exercise

In order to improve cardiovascular, cardio respiratory, muscular fitness and bone health and to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, the following are recommended:

-Age group of 5–17 years old should do atleast 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity daily.
-Physical activity for more then than 60 minutes daily will provide additional health benefits.
-Most of Exercises should be aerobic and must at least 3 times per week.


18–64 years old Age group:

For this age group, physical activity includes:
Walking or Cycling
Occupational
Household chores
Recreational or leisure-time physical activity
Planned exercise
Play, games, sports or

In order to come out from various disease like- cardiorespiratory , bone health, muscular fitness and to reduce the risk of depression the following are recommended:

-Age group of 18–64 years should do moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity for at least 150 minutes of throughout the week, or do vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity for at least 75 minutes throughout the week.
-Aerobic activity should be done in the rest break of at least 10 minutes duration.
- Adults should increase their moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity for more health benefits.

65 years old and above Age group:

For this age group, physical activity includes:

Transportation
Recreational or leisure-time physical activity,
Play, games, sports or planned exercise,
Occupational (if the person is still engaged in work),
Household chores,

In order to improve your health from various simple and dangerous diseases and also to reduce the risk of depression, NCDs and cognitive decline, the following are recommended:

- This age group should do moderate-intensity aerobic physical
activity throughout the week for at least 150 minutes , or do vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity for at least 75 minutes throughout the week
- This age group should increase their moderate aerobic physical activity to 300 minutes per week for additional health benifits
- Poor mobility adults of this age group should perform physical activity to increase balance
