Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) is a Jesuit-run business school in Ranchi, India. It was established in 1955. XISS is governed by a governing body headed by a chairman from the Ranchi Jesuit Society.

Eligibility for Admission:

Three / four years bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST) in any discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities.

Preference will be given to Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Management and Computer Science graduates and candidates with relevant work experience.

Candidates appearing for final year or final semester can also apply.

Three stage admission process is followed by the Institute as per the guidelines of AICTE.

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT 2016) conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur (exam date: 3rd January 2016)

Common Admission Test CAT 2015 conducted by IIM Ahmedabad, (exam date: 29th November 2015)

CMAT (January 2016) conducted by AICTE, New Delhi

These are the only approved examinations through which a candidate can apply to XISS Ranchi.
