I am going to join YCMOU University i heard that this University was not approved by the AICTE. Can you please tell me about this University that whether this University actually not approved by the AICTE and if approves please provide me the registration number of this University for conformation?

The Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) was established in July 1989 by Act XX- of the Maharashtra State Legislature, named after Yashwantrao Chavan, Maharashtra’s great political leader and builder of modern Maharashtra.

Recognition:

Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University's awarded degrees are recognised by UGC in India. YCMOU is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and AAOU.
