Year Back Concept in VTU
Hello sir I am here as I want to know the Year Back Concept of Visvesvaraya Technological University so will you please tell me about this to me??? Visvesvaraya Technological University year back system is a concept introduced Bachelor of Engineering(B.E.) that emphasizes certain rules on the examination system. Under the Concept A year back is a condition that limits the number of subjects a student can carry to the next year. As per the current rules a VTU student can carry only 4 subjects to the next year. i.e., if a student has more than 4 standing backlogs he/she cannot enter into the next year. One more concept in year back is called critic subject. That is a student must clear the first year subjects to enter into the third year. The 1st year subject which limits a student from entering into the third year is called critic subject. However there are two subjects which are not considered for year back system and critic subjects and that are Constitution of India & Professional Ethics and Environmental Studies (CIP and CIV) However these two subjects must be cleared to get the degree completion certificate. B.Tech Courses Offered by this University are: Ceramics & Cement Technology Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mining Engineering Electronics & Comm Engineering Telecommunication Engineering Electrical & Electronics Engineering Computer Science & Engineering Information Science & Engineering Industrial & Production Engineering Industrial Engineering & Management Manufacturing Science & Engineering Biomedical Engineering Instrumentation Technology Medical Electronics Bio-technology Chemical Engineering Polymer Science & Technology Silk Technology Textile Technology Automobile Engineering Contact Details; Visvesvaraya Technological University Jnana Sangama, VTU Main Road, Machhe, Belagavi, Karnataka 590018 Phone: 0831 249 8196 Last edited by Neelurk; June 19th, 2020 at 09:39 AM. |
