AFCAT Exam Eligibility criteria
What is the minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for AFCAT Exam??? Indian Air force organize the AFCAT Exam to recruit the candidate for various departments Eligibility for FLYING BRANCH – Eligibility -It is eligible for both Men & Women -Age Limit must be in between 19 to 23 years -Must be Graduates in any discipline or BE / B Tech degree from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks aggregated -Min. height should be 162.5 cms -Weight should be Correlated to height Eligibility for TECHNICAL BRANCHES – Educational Qualification – Must have completed 4 years of qualification from a recognized Institution or passed Sections A and B exam of AMIE India or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institute of Elec and Telecomm Physical Standards - Height Men 157.5 cms Women 152 cms Weight Weight must be Correlated with Height Eligibility for GROUND DUTY BRANCHES – Age Limit - For Graduate Age must be in between 20 to 23 Years For Post Graduates / LLB (5 years integrated course) Age must be in between 20 to 25 Years For LLB (3 years course after Graduation) Age must be in between 20 to 26 Years For M Ed / Ph D / CA / ICWA Age must be in between 20 to 27 Years Educational Qualifications - Administration & Logistics Must have Graduate Degree with minimim 60% marks or a Post Graduate Degree / equivalent Diploma with minimim of 50% marks aggregated in any discipline of all papers put together. Accounts Must hold Graduate Degree in Commerce (B Com) with at least 60% marks or Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (M Com) / CA / ICWA atleast 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together. Education Must have Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
