The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a renowned therapeutic school in Pune, India, in the province of Maharashtra. The school is overseen by the Indian Armed Forces.

Built up in May 1948 after World War II on the suggestion of the BC Roy Committee, remainders of different Indian Army Medical Corps units were amalgamated to make the Armed Forces Medical administrations. The AFMC undergrad wing was built up on 4 August 1962, which is commended every year as AFMC Day by its graduated class over the globe.

AFMC has been positioned reliably among the best medicinal universities of India, with the Outlook 2012 and 2015 overview positioning it second among all the undergrad restorative foundations of the nation
