Rural Medical College (MBBS): 125 Intakes;
Duration: 4 & 1/2 years plus One year Internship

Rural Dental College (BDS): 100 Intake;
Duration: 4 years plus One year Internship

a) General Category: 85% seats are reserved under this category

b) NRI (Non Resident Indians)/PIO (Persons of Indian Origin)/FN (Foreign
Nationals) Category: 15% seats are reserved under this Category

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
Candidate must be an Indian National

Age Limit:
Minimum age for applying for this Exam is 17 Years

Academic Qualification:
The Higher/Senior Secondary Exam or the Indian School Certificate Exam which is equivalent to (10+2) Higher/Senior Secondary Examination, which is conducted after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English as a core course


Selection Procedure

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the PIMS-All India Common Entrance Test-UG (PIMS-AICET-UG) conducted by the Institute
Candidates belonging to general category that secure minimum 50% marks in PIMS-AICET-UG and satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by respective councils will be eligible


Exam Pattern
There will be one question paper of 3 hours duration containing 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), 50 questions each in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology
Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers

Scratching, overwriting, tick marking and multiple answers will be considered as wrong answers and no marks will be awarded

Syllabus for Exam
The entrance exam will be conducted based on the syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
